Census Bureau: 76.5% of people in Chelan County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 78,508 citizens living in Chelan County in 2021, 76.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 60,073 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 29,902 were male, constituting 49.8%, and 30,171 were female, making up 50.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Chelan County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
